News Release - Launch of New Reporting Features

Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David H. Stafford today announced new two new features on to increase transparency for candidates, political parties, the media and the public.

Unofficial voter turnout can now be tracked during absentee voting, early voting and on Election Day. And after the polls close on election night, a graphical display of which precincts have reported their results will add to the already robust election night results reporting on

Unofficial turnout will be displayed by political party, by method (absentee, early voting and Election Day), and by early voting site and precinct. The graphs and charts will display new data as it becomes available throughout early voting and on Election Day.

Election night reporting begins after polls close at 7 p.m., with absentee and early voting results posted within the first 30 minutes. As each precinct reports their Election Day results, an interactive precinct map will note which precincts have reported and which have yet to report. In addition, the map will include a link to each precinct’s polling location and statistical information.

Early voting will be offered Saturday, March 5, through Saturday, March 12, from 8 a.m. to 5p.m. at seven sites across Escambia County. For a list of locations please visit

On Election Day, Tuesday, March 15, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Voters must present a valid photo and signature ID and must vote at their home precinct on Election Day.
