  • News Release- Early Voting for 2014 Primary

    Book Closing for the August Primary is Monday, July 28. Applications need to be postmarked or delivered to the Elections Office by close of business on Monday.
  • News Release- "Vote By Mail" Ballots Headed to Voters

    “Vote By Mail” or absentee ballots are on the way to voters for the August 26 Primary Election. Voters could begin receiving ballots as early as tomorrow. Voted mail ballots must be returned to the Election’s Office no later than 7 p.m. on August 26.
  • News Release- Military/Overseas Ballots on the Way

    Ballots for the Military and overseas voters hit the mail stream on Friday, July 11. The Escambia County Supervisor of Elections has processed more than 4,600 ballots so far. Some military and overseas voters received their ballots via email. Voters can view their sample ballot at EscambiaVotes.com and click on “Track My Ballot.” Civilian ballots will be mailed beginning Tuesday, July 22.

  • Winter Weather Closing Extended- Thursday, January 30

    Due to the continuing severe winter conditions, the Escambia County Supervisor of Elections Office will remain closed on Thursday, January 30 along with schools and other county offices. The elections office will reopen on Friday, January 31.

    The Escambia County Emergency Operations Center is continuing to monitor the conditions and the local state of emergency remains in effect. Visit myescambia.com for the latest county information.

  • Winter Weather Office Closing - January 28 & 29

    The Escambia County Emergency Operations Center will be participating in National Weather Service conference call at 5pm today (January 27) and will issue an updated weather statement. A local state of emergency is scheduled to begin at 12 a.m. Tuesday, January 28 due to the anticipated weather conditions.

    Following the course of action by Escambia County, the department of Public Safety and other constitutional offices, the Escambia County Supervisor of Elections Office will also be closed on Tuesday, January 28 and Wednesday, January 29. Regular office hours will resume on Thursday, January 30.

    Voters who reside in precincts 29 and 31 are reminded that their polling location has changed for the June 11 Special General Election. Voters have been mailed a notification of the change, which was also included in sample ballots.

    Early voting for the Special General Election will conclude Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 4 p.m. All three early voting sites will be open at 10 a.m. Voters are reminded to bring a photo and signature identification to the polls.

    Voters living in State House District 2 will be receiving a sample ballot by mail for the upcoming June 11 Special Election. Pensacola city residents will also have a municipal referendum on this ballot. Voters are encouraged to review the ballot information before going to the polls.
