Tuesday is Voter Registration Deadline, Extended Hours Offered

The Escambia County Supervisor of Elections office will hold extended hours on Tuesday, October 11, to allow voters to register before the book closing deadline for the November 8 General Election.

Extended Office Hours: Tuesday, October 11 – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Florida law mandates that registration books close 29 days before an election. New registrations must be completed and received or postmarked no later than October 11, in order for them to be effective for the November 8 General Election. Address changes can be made after the books close. If you are unsure of your registration status, visit EscambiaVotes.com and click Am I Registered?

Vote-By-Mail Requests

Any voter may request a vote-by-mail ballot using the online form at EscambiaVotes.com, or by contacting the office by mail, phone (850) 595-3900, email (votebymail@escambiavotes.com), fax (850) 595-3914, or in person at the Elections Office, 213 Palafox Place, 2nd Floor. Requests must include the voter’s date of birth and address, and must be received no later than Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Voted ballots must be returned to the Elections Office no later than 7 p.m. on
Election Day. Vote-by-mail voters may now track the status of their ballots at EscambiaVotes.com.
